The Walk of Shame

Nope.
You have to walk along the very long passage way musing to yourself, that you are a lowly SG now!
There are no lifts or escalators direct to the QFi Business Lounge at SYD.
You have to go up the main escalator for the F, and keep walking.
Don't worry, I have not ever been to the F lounge either, have alway walked the passageway of shame.
SYDi Business is all that bad, for me anyway, but I can't compare it to the F lounge, but comparable to VA's dom lounges, QFi Business at SYD is quite good.

Watch out - I hear they strip search you on the way out of the J lounge in case you're trying to take the scrambled eggs with you :)

Definitely is today. CBR QP is closed and everyone getting sent to the J Lounge which is packed.

That's unfortunate as I did like the J lounge when I had access and it was never packed when I was there. But the QP passengers get a bit of a treat at least.

Russ, what BD said is unsound. Even though there is logic to it, you yourself will KNOW that you are a failure. A failure, and deserving of that shame.

Having reduced my RPT travel in the last year, I've been downgraded from WP to lowly SG. *Sob*

Now I face the embarrassment of using the SYD Int Business Lounge. My clients think this is hilarious and are threatening to get photos of me slumming it in there.

I have checked the meetup section of this Board and there's nobody available to guest me in. So I'll have to sneak into the Business Lounge without anyone seeing. However, being a good AFFer, I've never been to the SYD Int Business Lounge before and don't know if there are other ways to get in.

My question to you is: Is there a way of getting into the SYD Int Business Lounge without doing the "Walk of Shame" past the Flounge?

Russ, maaate. You should have called out in pain earlier and one of us could have flown down and guested you in so that no one would ever know of your fall, allowing you to maintain the standards suitable for your clients' admiration!

TMA, that's a fantastic idea!

Let's call it the "AFF Platinum Concierge."

Can I please book you for late July?

"Noblesse oblige" . Or, sort of like in Victorian times when people of good standing would go out and take "fallen women" into shelter.

You could always route flights via mel or Bne where possible. No walk of shame and a few extra sc to boost you back up to wp ;)
