Where Donald Campbell met his fate in 1967. This was during one of the better periods of weather. Merely drizzling and blowing.

We stayed near by at the Samling hotel. Wordsworth paid his rent there back in the day.
Great hotel but has increased in price considerably.

Yes @kookaburra75 I read your trip report and it was very informative. We are having a great time, so much to see and do and those wines are delicious!
