Contrails over PER are quite unusual, so they do attract attention. Especially today when it was so calm on the deck, and clearly also at altitude, as the trails lingered for a long time.

There were two late this morning that came in from the NNW on the same track about an hour apart.

But, about over PER, they both peeled off strongly to the SE, not SW, so not looking like BQB was their destination. I could see neither on FR24 or FA - but being at the beach without my specs, I may have missed them. However, doing a FR24 playback just now, I see nothing resembling those flight paths overflying PER.

Your pic looks very like what I saw. What direction are you facing for your pic?

Image is from Galup looking north-east. I check FR24 to confirm the flight was to BQB as a FIFO flight.

Novotel, Denpasar airport, small plane in distance is a Aero Dili plane.

We are going to Lombok on a new airline and new plane. TransNusa and a Comcac ARJ21-700.

I have to investigate further next time. C'est La Vie.

Enjoy, it’s a great place to drive and a stack of cool scenery along the way. Plenty of beaches to pull into and some stunning waterfalls inland.
Keen for a Pullman review as it wasn’t built last time we stayed in Lombok

That NE view confirms a SW turn, which would be towards BQB. What I saw were two very definite SE turns, which would be away from BQB. Puzzling.

so far, so good, upgraded room, very good restaurants, haven't been for a walk yet, but the better half said the beach is much better than the Mecure we stayed at in Bali.
Selection of fruit on arrival and small sweets, cakes and things which we declined.

Hotel is booked out this coming weekend, rather large Ferrari gathering, I'm told. Race track very close, featured this last weekend. Shudder to think what it would cost to bring those here!
