Our son bought the tickets for us in Row A , perhaps a bit close to the Speakers, so the cheaper rows further back would be the way to go.Only recently heard about those candlelight concerts at St John's (Brisbane), I'll have to get there.

Oh that is disappointing they use speakers. I heard Pachelbel canon played there long time ago, small orchestra, no speakers needed. Conceptually not a fan of amplified strings but the artists were very good ( Paradiso strings) and the sound mixing was excellent.
