I can’t find the right forum. On my B737 office MEL-PER, there was absolutely no acknowledgment or welcome as a WP., which has been questioned on an associated thread. I had to mention at meal service that I had a special order. The FAs sat in their seats ignoring the call buttons. I talked to the chief FA about how the airlines read what AFF has to say, but it went over her head. Very disappointed about the lack or service on the flight. Yes, I had plenty to drink on my flight, but certainly it was not up to scratch. The FA manager preferred to remain seated and ignore business class passengers. QF775 MEL-PER today.

Not happy, Jan!
I would send QF feedback on the poor service. Your status should carry some weight.

Feedback to Customer Care @Port Power ?
Unless it's a documented benefit ...... I don't think much you can do? BA does it inconsistently, but it's not a published benefit of status so who cares.

In all my travels with *A and ST (having status in both), at no point have I ever had a special greeting. EVER! OW is different in this regard. I've learned to live with it and put it in the "who cares" bucket.....

I do get your point of view @Flashback
When I get very good service though I do send a compliment - ie " compliments where compliments are due" - something my Mum taught me!

I think in @Port Power 's instance, ignoring call buttons warrants raising.

I guess it was just “the last straw”. I don’t need a personal greeting, but certainly no one else in J received a welcome aboard either. It is simply sad when lacklustre service is noticeable.
