My son walked straight by this without seeing the hole

I was not so fortunate…. Completely oblivious to the danger I stepped and crunched the log

Sore left ankle, skinned knees and
A hell of a shock

Backtracking and there were 2 trees inside holes without caps 100 metres before so it’s likely there was a tree here that had been broken and no one noticed.
