The view or two from my "office"

Cluj, Romania, (Clewj with a soft j) is a university town of approximately 500,000 people. It felt quite lively, as such towns do. Very clean, but we Australians really do notice the number of people smoking. Evidently the life expectancy of males is 67, women 72.

One of the university buildings within the old fortress boundaries.

There are so many cafes in the old town. Night life must’ve pretty lively.

Labour Day Monday in Canada and we did the short trip to Port Dalhousie for a look around.

First up, lunch. Pank crumbed lake perch and a cleansing ale over looking a small craft marina. No pics of the lunch (which was great) and the marina (which was pleasant to look over)

Went for a stroll and the Port has a beach of sorts in the lake. Being a long weekend, was fairly busy (this pic doesn't show it).

....and one photographer wearing a hoodie. My neighbour who is holidaying in Bali ATM says the heat is oppressive.
More than one with a hoodie @AuSammy !

We are finding the warmth to be ok. 29° at present, with a light breeze here in Nusa Dua, only 69% humidity.
After our July 3/52 in Vietnam, this is very pleasant by comparison, 34°, 80+% humidity!
