I am trying to recall what Hermann Hesse wrote about the (mighty?) Vistula (in The Tin Drum?). I think I read all his books in the early-mid '70s.

I enjoyed breakfast home for a run (and pick-up missing items) and now lunch in the PER J lounge office. This idiot realised in the lounge that his specs were left at home! MrsDaver6 has the cover idea to ask about being moved to the next flight to BME. So I'm about to go enjoy the a bloody Mary in the lounge while she's already enjoying the warmth of BME

Our 16:35 BNE-SYD was delayed and I wanted to not lose time in Sydney so I changed my wife and I’s to the earlier flight.
Saw on the app that the front of the plane was full but there were free seats at the rear so we could get a row with shadow between us.
First time in a long time at the back. Definitely much more engine noise.
But ,with embarking and disembarking via both front and rear doors, it was very convenient being first on and first off via the backdoor.
