By night. To the naked eye the building appears to be internally illuminated by white light with just a hint of a violet tinge. A photo taken with the phone shows a completely colour. Unless you are square on to the building then it comes out a sort of greyish white.

That pub was so convenient when we stayed at the Novotel Darling Harbour last year.

PKP Intercity Szczecin to Poznan - 2nd class. It was full after a couple of stops. Despite the Express name there were plenty of stops. Pretty good legroom. As usual the footrest was designed for Douglas Bader.

No announcements in English or German - even on the one we took from Berlin a few days ago. But the train staff seemed to be hiding on that one as the train turned up a carriage short and the pax on that carriage were left to find a seat or a piece of floor on their own in the already pretty full train.



It mainly sat around 158 km/h. The highest I saw was 161.

Went for a sightsee around Auckland yesterday. Stopped at the Northcote Tavern (North Point) for lunch., great old pub. Jnr Nut then wanted to go to the casino and do Sky Tower. Long story short and a tip for those wanting to do Sky Tower, go to the Sky Bar instead of the observation deck. Was going cost NZ$47 ea for the Sky Deck but free for the Sky Bar, only proviso is you buy something. Easy as; it's a bar!..with the same view just two floors lower.

..so in the end we spent NZ$100 for the four of us on drinks - three coughtails and two beers. Also had our parking validated that saved us $20. Much cheaper than going to Sky Deck, get the same awesome views and way less crowded..
