Not looking good:@Flashback @k_sheep - could you check please whether Albatros will supply parkas and rent us boots on board? I intend to leave my Ponant Parka behind as it’s very bulky and I don’t need a great red beacon in Tas but will keep it if we have to bring our own parkers to Greenland.

Malachite - copper carbonate. Cornwall of course was well known for its copper mines. Many of the early South Australian copper mines ( eg Burra) were worked by people from Cornwall.Some really interesting things and I'm not a geologist like @RooFlyer but I do love looking at rocks
