From yesterday. The view inside Arles Roman Amphitheatre. There were two groups of primary age school kids getting lessons in gladiatorial tactics. Much to our disappointment the two lines of kids were never allowed to get closer to each other than this.

The Cryptoporticus of the Roman Forum in Arles.Built to support the forum it acted as a structural foundation and also provided storage and administration space. It consists of three parallel passageways forming an U shape. They are about 90 metres in length. They are a number of Metres beneath the City Hall and were built in the 1st Century BC.
