The view or two from my "office"

Perouges - a medieval walked town 30 km northeast of Lyon. It has been used as a filming location for movies like a French version of The Three Musketeers. No power lines etc in sight. Thanks to Flashback and Cambriamarsh for the recommendation. The walk up the hill from the gare was pretty gruelling for my 71 year old knees

Train to London

Poor seat selection with limited views.

Change trains soon so first class and Pullman dining.

Did my very grumpy old lady. Couple 3 rows in front face timing on iPad and they are old so volume up. I went up and said “do we need to hear this “. Of course they didn’t hear me and the person on the other end said did someone say something. Lady on train says I don’t know I couldn’t hear what she said. ]They closed it down shortly

Usually walk to it, but driven there by keen, teen grandson on his L's - getting his hours up (note : engine not on, just mapping it on his phone in this photo - not sure why as we've walked there heaps of times !!)

Isn't it terrifying to sit in the passenger seat with a learner driver behind the wheel. 60 k is absolutely flying and you have no brake pedal on that side
