The view or two from my "office"

Hammond Park, Kalgoorlie. Drove from PER this morning (woot, woot!) and just chilling while my son attends to some business in Kal before we head another couple of hundred clicks out bush.

10 days ago the stairs in that last image led down to a sandy beach - the lower ends of the handrails were actually covered by sand - 2nd May storms saw an unbelievable amount of the sand relocated. Now the stair leads to a concrete 'landing' with a 1M drop to rocks (hence the council's tape).
