It was pretty stormy at Carrum yesterday with a few squalls coming through.

10 days ago the stairs in that last image led down to a sandy beach - the lower ends of the handrails were actually covered by sand - 2nd May storms saw an unbelievable amount of the sand relocated. Now the stair leads to a concrete 'landing' with a 1M drop to rocks (hence the council's tape).




Water rarely covers these rocks at the mouth of the River:
