My outside office this morning was along the Cooks River near the airport.
Looking south from Tempe across the Cooks River.
This yacht came to grief during a recent storm.
The Walkway from the Cooks River to SYD T1. Note the Covid testing of workers in the car park.
Looking west from the Marsh Street bridge towards Wolli Creek.
Standing on the Marsh St bridge at SYD with a rare sight - an international flight (QF21 to NRT).
The under side of the Marsh St bridge reflects in the still waters below.
The weather has certainly not been PERfect of late here. It is looking as if we will be close to a record amount of rainfall for a July - but the dams are still just 50.7% full. This has seriously affected our bike riding and we are lucky to get in 2 or 3 a rides a week at the moment. Anyway we managed to get out between showers today and stopped at Kent St Weir on the Canning River for a photo. Upstream is fresh water and downstream is the Estuary which is at least brackish up here. There is a strong flow over the weir at the moment.
