The Velocity Status Run Master thread

Even though most QF runs are publicly discussed is there any reason not to put them in the spreadsheet too? Might as well make it the most valuable resource we can make it. I'm not suggesting withholding info from the forum but nothing wrong with having it on the sheet as well.

That makes sense. I will post some runs when I can.

If you take a glimpse at the bottom, I believe there are tabs there for QF runs too (well, there were last week at least).

I know the sheets exist. What we are talking about doing is beginning to full them with data, even if the data is already public and/or not a mistake fare.

Would it not be better to have the QF fares in a spreadsheet that isn't so restricted as we're not worrying about the routes getting shut down? If we use this spreadsheet for everything (not just VA) it will be too elitist.

Yes, Elitist. I like the sound of that. DYKWIA? ;)

No one suggested only posting QF runs on the sheet and not online. Anything that isn't a mistake should still go on here. It would make the sheet a great resource for users to sort runs by SC earn, departure city, or cost. Once the VA mistakes dry up there is no point letting the spreadsheet die, is there? It might as well be kept up as a secondary place for any good runs and a primary place for future mistakes.

And poor lobo is going to have a butt load of access requests. It could end up being a full time job!

I can't seem to edit the sheet from my iPhone but I suggest people have a play around with A60, I have found some cheaper rates on departures from other eastern cities which have a slightly better SC yield and use different routing to reach the destination. I will put them up when I get home.

You can get the Google Drive app for most smart phones

I can edit the spreadsheet from my iPhone without the app (it does ask if I want to download the app every time though!).

I have started adding the QF status runs to the spreadsheet. I am taking them straight from the QF status run threads, and may have to adjust the columns in that sheet to take into account min and max pts or $ for the run. A bit of a work in progress at the moment.

Re: Need 4 DJ sectors and 130 SCs by Sept 1

Just tried to edit on my computer, for some reason I have view only access to the document, anyone know if this is something I can fix on my end? I will send lobo a PM.

A few people lost access due to [inadvertently?] deleting important information. Perhaps you were one of them?

Re: Need 4 DJ sectors and 130 SCs by Sept 1

I certainly didn't delete anything. I have only added extra runs, not deleted or edited anything.

Re: Need 4 DJ sectors and 130 SCs by Sept 1

bad news - virgin has upgraded its costs for most of the better value runs - i have updated the spreadsheet overnight :(

Kind of amusing that they can update these things, but everything else is IT related is an unworkable festering pile of turd that apparantly cannot be fixed,
