Bloody specialist. Had a social chat then charged me a new consultation fee despite having seen him in the last 18 months! :(

Ohh that's horrible, it happens to me frequently at work but it's so much worse when it's someone you know x

Just gut wrenching. I know those affected directly better than the person they lost. Two 7yps without a Dad, and a woman without her partner.

And now having conversations with Little Miss about whatwpuld happen if the Mum dies as well.

A close friend of mine's partner died about an hour after she gave birth to their first children - twins - just over a year ago. Some sort of seizure that I think may still remain unexplained. It was in a major private hospital (you've done some work at it in W Leederville, IIRC, PF), so not the result of alternative birthing practices.

That was shattering beyond belief. He had also started a new job just weeks before. His employer, a major multi-national resources company, was marvellous.

That is eerily like my grandfather's first wife and the birth of my aunts, in the 1940s, in the bush. Their mother died shortly after childbirth (not sure how soon). Thanks to the matron at the hospital my aunts stayed there for some months before the matron got found out & my grandfather had to make alternative arrangements.
He ended up hiring a nurse to look after them ... and she became my grandmother.

OT whinge time?

Why do I bother going to work?

2 days in a row ive been up at 230am to get the 330am booze bus to start my 5am shift.
Both days ive been sent straight back to within 5 minutes of home to standby and not been called to perform any work.

During this time ive discovered that the bakery cant make coffee. The chicken shop makes a mean portuguese chicken burger and AFF send my phone flat quute quickly!

My understanding of the mbs rules is that (and I may be wrong, as I'm not a private specialist) if you have a new referral after 12 months then they can charge a new pt item number.

But if your condition is permanent/ongoing/chronic and will require specialist visits for an ongoing period, you can ask your GP for an enduring/indefinite referral.

Coming up to T-12 on my domestic QF flight tomorrow in J.

I wonder if I'll get my meal choice?

Fantastic thunder and lightening rolling through Adelaide right now. And RAIN. Basically we've had none since August. And of course it wasn't forecast.

"...it's First Class how bad could that be?"

:D :D

You'll be both happy to know that they are quite good, in considering more than just the ground service in BKK.

People have been claiming that the onboard experience (food) has slightly been turning for worse, but without the benefit of experience and objectively they are still fine.

Ripper thunderstorm in Melbourne just now - although it might be over quite quickly it was quite tropical in spectacularity (?)

Lots of storms in Oz over the last couple of days. My FB feed is full of them.

In England, well it's just the usual gloomy fall/Autumn season. Cold rain at times, early sunsets and late rises.

Mal with the grey weather in and around London is it light enough to get your shadow on the pavement.
We haven't been able to fly over to London as my wife is looking after her olds and that has not been going too well. What that means is we are accumulating frequent flyer points from credit cards spending.... I know this is a problem.
