Fifteen hundred not counting Mr FM's history books :). I am sure the time will come when I will have to part with them, but not yet :).

My current project is going through the cupboard in my study. I have over 30 years of SMSF paperwork! Mr FM has bought me a small shredder and I am getting rid of all except the last 7 years - huge task! Next will be the pile of X-rays and scans - 30 years of those as well. Dr FM says they are useless.

Then there are all the 3 ring binders with all the kids drawings and birthday cards and school photos and certificates and ribbons! Going to keep those, but when we downsize the kids are either going to have to take them, or they will go too. Fortunately (unless one of us dies, or major ill health strikes), it is awhile away.

Once this project finishes, the next one is the store room with the toys and linen. I will beat this accumulation of junk in the house!
We just had a massive clean out at work and we hired 2 security disposal bins... Same size as a normal wheelie bin for home o 240 Litres

How was everyone's weekends... I like this time as it is Football Finals and am seeing some great games but I don't enjoy the off season... At least we then have cricket

IMG_2819.JPG Speaking of clean outs - sad sight on the streets of Seville today next to a skip - if I was home I think I would have taken them home and washed them to give away

Yes when we had our business, we had a permanent secure bin at the office. When it was getting full, we phoned up and they brought a new empty one and took the full one away. Made life very easy, as I could bring stuff from home and just throw it in. The shredder is good though, as I am too lazy to do much at any one time.

Our office had a huge skip bin for the complex. Fabulous for removing stuff. It was emptied weekly.

ours did too, but because we did so much Government work, I felt more comfortable with paper going in a secure bin - not that anything we did was subject to security, but given all our staff had to be security cleared, a secure paper disposing mechanism seemed sensible. Also we had lots of rates information that I didn't want blowing around :)

Oh yep, we had a separate secure bin also. Bit hard to stick 'stuff' from home in that one!

why? It was for secure paper, so why couldn't I put my paper from home in it? I ran the business from home anyway, so often had secure things I need to bring in, so added my personal papers as well. My business, my bin :)

$115 MEL-SYD? Sorta Sale-ish these days.
$105 is the cheapest SYD-BNE as far as I am aware. Flights are not cheap.

Another cancellation of a January Sunday flight SYD-BNE moving me onto a later flight. I think every forward booking I have for December/January now has a cancelled flight.

We have used (in both current and previous iteration of our business), Shred-It. We are now down to a small bin with a 5 week collection period. They empty into the truck and we see it being shredded on site.
