The TomCat Family's Luxury Escape

I seem to have the faulty wireless charging pad, TV says his works fine but mine does not. Food was fine, though nothing spectacular.
Kids got a chicken starter and chicken main (though Master TC didn't get a main) and a chocolate dessert. I went for the beef.

We were checked through in Melbourne so an easy return to the airport this morning. Hotel bus at 10 then straight through into the lounge.
Our bid upgrade was accepted so we have settled in the regional Golden lounge.

And a bathtub of death with an added feature of the tripping stairs to heaven - what time to be alive but soon to be dead! 🤣
There is a similar step in our bathroom here in Thailand and I've tripped down it four times in the first day 🥴

Flight to Thailand was nice. Slightly delayed but our upgrade to J came through and we had the whole cabin. Satay or a sandwich offered as a refereshment, dry flight too. Arrival was easy and the Luxury Escapes pick up was seamless.

Hotel is pretty insane, it's a proper big resort. We booked a swim up family room so you have access to a pool along the front of the room. No bedrooms but there is a sliding screen between the kids space and ours. We have a king bed, they have a trundle. It's not huge but manageable.

We are nears the kids pool, and kids club which is convenient and actually not that noisy. Buffet breakfast was fine, probably not as good as our previous Khao Lak hotel but it is busier here. It's sufficient to start the day.

Yesterday we all went out on a day trip with the driver we used last trip. This time we headed up to Khao Sok to see the elephants and do some bamboo rafting. A busy day but fortunately not a long one. The trip down the river was lovely, and included a delicious lunch at the end.

Lemongrass mojitos and red curry for lunch. The photos on the menu did not do this place justice (also 60b/kg for laundry so we got two birds with one stone).

Followed by massages next door for three of us, they kindly curtained off three beds so we could keep an eye on Master TC as well.
