The "Single-Post Trip Report" Thread

@JessicaTam suggested that AFF should have a dedicated thread where members can post short travel tales that perhaps don't quite warrant a full-blown trip report, but that do warrant more than just a single photo posted in the View from my "office" thread.

So... introducing the "Single-Post Trip Report" thread!

If you would like to share an interesting travel experience, but don't feel it's enough content - or you don't have enough time - to write a full trip report, this is the place to write it!

A few ground rules for this thread:

• Trip reports posted in this thread must be a single post. (You are of course welcome to write a longer trip report, but please start a new thread in the Trip Reports forum if you wish to do that, rather than posting it here.)
• Maximum 5 photos (so choose wisely!)
• No travel experience is too big or small to write about here. You can post about a single flight, somewhere interesting that you visited, something strange that happened to you while travelling, an entire multi-week trip, or anything else - as long as your story fits into 1 post with a maximum of 5 photos.
• The moderators may move trip reports that are longer than 1 post or have more than 5 photos into their own thread in the Trip Reports forum.

I'm looking forward to seeing what stories AFF members have to share in this thread!

I stopped doing full length trip reports for many years now....too time consuming, need a laptop to sort out photos and I rarely carry a laptop these days.

Will be more inclined to post a short segment of my longer trip that I particularly enjoyed which I feel AFFers may find interesting and helpful....and it is something that I can quickly do on my phone
