Personally, I'd pop down to Martin Place or George St to the Lindt Cafe for a hot chocolate and a macaroon. :)

Notzac - novelty factor. We don't have it in cairns.

Actually, there's a lot if things we don't have in cairns. A first (or even second) world postal system for one.

You can send mail to New Zealand faster than you can to Cairns.

I would suggest it is about time for LawLass to organize a Chilli Prawn & Crab Stack @ Sichuan House run, with first course being lunch in a convenient QF Flounge. :D
 
So were there 7 of you there at the Radisson last night? Some are flying in this morning and Princess Fiona is on a train, Leumas and simongr are probably at work but not really concentrating on it this morning (well I know simongr isn't ;))

I'm off to Bretts Wharf for lunch, so I'll feel the love of somebody else taking me to lunch...just not a flight to SYD, a night in a hotel room and... :( (I don't want to go on...)

Hope simongr, awilcockson and/or drewbles will throw me some titbits via FB

Thanks to whoever it was who linked me in to this thread. As I mentioned yesterday I haven't been on much so was late in letting people know I was going. I haven't time this am to read all the replies etc.

What I am wondering is: I have never met anyone in real life from AFF so (and I suspect I should have read this!) how are AFF people going to recognise each other as (obviously) my real name isn't EmilyHoward LOL?

Will be on to check pre 12.30pm!

Hi EH the lunch starts at 12 o'clock.
I've arrived in CBD currently browsing in David Jones and will wander up to Radisson for 11.45.
Should be easy to spot me, black dress, red cardi ;)

Just look for a bunch of guys with laptops or phones or iPads in their hands and busily typing away. Also look for AFF baggage tags on their laptop bags.
 
"Emily" meet us in the lobby of the radisson blu at 11:45. We aren't hard to spot
Start time had moved to 12 in case you didn't know
