The Problem With Reclining Airplane Seat Design

unfortunately it is an issue in business class as well. Was flying MEL-SYD when the BOS (businessman of size) behind me complained I was reclining. His beer gut was such that he had to have his in-arm tray table at the extreme limit away from him. My recline was apparently interfering.
And now we are including the obese in the reclining thread. So sad.

If I'm in J, I recline. VA dom is fine to so. QF J on the 767's (I think it was) were very close and a recline was certainly problematic.

Or those QF A330s they got from Jetstar. I seriously had to limbo to get past the aisle recliner from my window seat.

I vowed never, ever to risk flying one of those again. Thought it would be worth it for the in-flight service (which was excellent). It wasn't.

Well actually a number of those 332's started off at QF before making their way over to JQ!
