The Master SQ Guide (Krisflyer, Waitlists & Waitlists Clearing)

I'm currently on hold with SQ.

I am sure others on here have done mixed class redemptions (for routes that don't have first class available). In my case, first from Mel to Sin, then business Sin to Osaka. From memory it is priced at the higher class cost for the entire journey (which I am happy to wear.)

This is a follow up call after the person I spoke to this afternoon on the Krisflyer redemption booking extension couldn't actually book reward flights, so this was a call back after 4 hours.

They are only giving me the option of booking separately, which then has the issue of a higher cost (and exceeds the miles I have in my account), as well as not protecting 3 hour connections in the event of delays.

Is this a change that I have missed, or has it never been possible? Or is it a case of HUACA?

They occasionally pull this stunt and then make a one time exception - maybe ask for that
