I jumped on at 0750 to find I was allocated seat 16C and my wife who is bronze but on a seperate booking was in row 14. After some fiddling the system finally allowed us to sit together in row 14. Looking forward to this weekend.

Does anyone know if you can use premium luggage on the Dash8 from Longreach , or do you have to check it in. I ask because I only have 70 minutes from arrival at BNE until my departure on VA. I'd rather not have to collect my bag from the carousel and then go back through security.

I'm not sure sorry. It's been so long since I last used it. The requirement that it still be under 7kg and weighed before boarding despite sitting with the rest of the luggage always irked me to the point it seemed too much effort to go through the motions when I could just check it and enjoy the lounge. But I realise that's not helpful to you.

Yes you can use the premium luggage service. You will find out how particular Longreach Baggage Security is when you go through to the Longreach Departure Lounge.
Seen belongings rescanned, rescanned, rescanned & rescanned.
