Hi all,

I'm sure there are a number of us who are golfers or into golf!
What's your local? What's your handicap? What clubs do you have?

Also who is looking forward to the Masters!? Who you picking? I like Bubba and Fowler at the moment.

I'm a member at Joondalup, playing off 10. Haven't played though for a year due to elbow issues.

PING G25 irons with new G series driver and 3 wood

I take an interest in golf every now and then. ;)

Member at Bardwell Valley. Current handicap 12. Titleist AP1 irons with Taylor Made R11 driver.

Quirky fact. Play off 4 in Thailand although probably closer to 6. Still trying to work out why. Courses must be easier.

I play a fair bit of golf in the BKK area. Wouldn't say they are easier, maybe you thrive in the heat!

The heat can get to me over there.

More relaxed? More focused? In the groove as they say. Confidence increases. Better rhythm in swing. Generally better scoring.

Must be those lovely caddies working their magic ;)

Can someone in Perth please help out?

Considering going over for a weekend and would love to know which golf clubs have an open members comp on Friday and Sunday. Here in Sydney/Brisbane that information is usually available in the sports results of the Daily Telegraph the next day. I assume something similar is available in Perth?

If you can scan the Saturday and Monday sports results pages and post here would be greatly appreciated.

Hi JohnK

Thank you very much. Now to work out which courses to try and play. Have played Kennedy Bay, Joondalup and Vines Ellenbrook courses.

No worries, haven't played a lot of golf recently, breaking fingers playing other sports doesn't help much:shock:

The Cut, which is a bit further south of Kennedy Bay might be worth putting on the short list, can be especially challenging if the wind is up and has quite a few holes with ocean views.
