The final Reward Status Credit run

So far my last 2 reward flight status credits did not come through and I had to chase them. Grrr.:evil:

Now the reward flight I did June 30 to MEL to OOL and return via SYD has come back with zero earn for SC. Please tell me it's eligible. June 30th is inclusive surely? I spent 7 hours in planes and lounges to earn 140 SC. I am already P and re-qualified and this was to get my wife to Gold. It was hard enough to explain to the missus in the first place why I was spending a nice day flying around in circles. Only a FF would understand ...

I'm still awaiting SC/points from Thursday 27 & Saturday 29 June SYD - OOL - SYD in J to post. There was an upgrade of the system over the weekend from memory so that might in part account for any delay.

I am that other poster from that other thread.. I did ADL-SYD-BNE-PER on June 30 and I think it should be posting too.. Perhaps the flicked the switch too early. I was planning to follow up first in the "Ask Velocity Frequent Flyer" section after they all post as zero as i bet we aren't the only two. I did have a ~4 hour stopover in Brisbane so at least did some sight-seeing in Brisbane with a local there

Likewise I was already Platinum and this was going to bump my partner to within 50sc of reaching Gold.

Hi Samas, birds of a feather. Wow you did a good run. I didn't get out of the airports and I think I put on 2 kilo! Must be glitch. They'll have revolt on their hands otherwise. I bet Jun 30 saw a lot of activity. When i got into the MEL lounge to get my BP the VA angel was surprised it printed out all the BPs at once. I explained I wasn't staying long. Then she smiled and said "Well done"!

Same happened to me... flew with my partner J MEL - SYD -MCY return and SC showed 0. A call to the contact centre fixed it within 30 minutes.

Drewbles means fare class (Z, I, D etc) not Business/Economy. The offer was for Z class for business. If it's Z on your BP it should be easy to follow up.

Flew yesterday and points/credits came in today. Got the full 80 status credits for MEL-PER in J, even though i was on a flexi upgraded with points. So Im happy enough

Hi guys. I travelled on Thursday 27th and have only been credited for 1 out of 4 flights on that day. I have sent across a message to VFF to have rectified. This is the second time during June in which points and SC have not posted after flights. Not sure what is going on with the system.

Me too. 4 sectors flown on Saturday. Last time they had all credited by Sunday night but I thought that was pretty exceptional.

Hmmm, I don't have a good feeling about this...and I am totally OVER retro claims!!

Hello all. Rang the call center Monday night and they confirmed the flights were eligible. SC appeared shortly after. Am over the retro claims as well. 75% failure strike rate so far on reward flights and about 25% normal flights chased since Jan. Also missed out on the last of the "accidental" SC on points upgrades to J when they were done manually too. I would hope they would be proactive and do a system wide fix on everyone else that missed out over the weekend but I get the impression they only fix the ones who notify them. These issues always seem to be a surprise at the call center. Maybe I'm just always the first to ring up!

The lack of understanding of a promotion that has been round now for 6 months never fails to astound me. They are now saying they will go back and take the ppoints given earlier off me. If they do that they can expect a reaction.

Hi johnno, I managed to be given some SC on upgrades to J automatically but they didn't give me any when they had to do a manual retro claim. They said the previous ones must have been a mistake but they assured me they weren't going to take any SC back off me. Did reasonably well off that. Anything automated seem to be in my favour. Manual not so. Points for the flexi fare were correct however.
