I haven't sorted them yet - I took over 600 pics (the ones I kept) & I could have gone harder!

Last night, I received an email from the CEO of VFF telling me that I am so close to SG & that I should go for another flight. He suggested that a MEL - SYD - MEL flexi would do the trick. Maybe he thinks I'm still in Melbourne!

Tuesday's flight gets me over the line when the 40SC credit.



And early this morning, they did credit so I'm over the line ... or at least I will be once the daily status review is done (probably later today or tomorrow).

According to VFF, I'm still silver for the moment.

It'll happen! Me looking at it every 5 minutes (an exaggeration, I know!) won't speed the process up.

Not sure if I'll have my new card by the time I hit Brisvegas on 10/9 but as long as the boarding pass says SG, I'll be happy. I've gone from red in October 2012 to Gold at the end of August 2013 so I'm pretty happy with that - especially considering that there was a while there between some trips.

I've lived in Sydney all my life but even so, there's sections here that I feel like I'm a tourist.

Attractive destinations ahead.. I managed to proudly also cover them all this year.. No TR yet though

I found it was easier to do the TR pretty much in real time so it was done by the time I got home.

The next trip is going to be interesting because I'll be without interweb access for 5 days while on a cruise ship in the Caribbean.
