if 777, check number of seats in F - 1-2-1 old, 1-1-1 new. If 380 then traditional F with shower and bar.I suggest in the end pragmatism will triumph over religion.

I think my in-laws got some which were light grey when they flew J. I personally would love to see new F PJ'sSlightly OT but didn’t want to start new thread.
Does EK give PJs out in Business Class on all in and outbound AU - Dubai flights regardless of departure times now?

Socialism! Fancy QF doing something like that rather with a bonus to workers rather than sacking them to allow excessive bonus to top execs.Emirates made a record profit of S7.6 Billion AUD and is giving its employees a 22 week bonus. The airline has a history of profit sharing .Good news for around 120,000 airline employees. The airline industry is fairly cut throat so it's good to see one airline giving back to its people. As for the travelling public, we just have to wait for cheaper fares one day.
Yes - for all classes of EK service, you can drop bags at DXB up to 24 hours prior to departure, or up to 12 hours prior when flying to the U.S.I have a EK F flight from DXB to SIN, I am correct to assume that we can drop bags off upto 24 hours before the flight? and enjoy the lounge (we want to stay at the in terminal airport hotel)

That I'm not sure of, and can't find detail to confirm. I don't think they'd allow lounge access on the prior day, unless it was a connection with a long layover (maybe?). Others may have experience here, but I'd prepare to be in the hotel until at least the date of departure, and possibly until a certain number of hours prior to your flight.and just enter the lounge?
We had no trouble entering the first lounge in DBX, during a 5.5 hour layover earlier this yearThat I'm not sure of, and can't find detail to confirm. Edit: Found this, which might add to that concern on timing:

We've done that twice, arriving in evening, stay in airport hotel, fly 10 am. Went to F lounge for dinner and breakfast without issues. YMMV.Our flight is at 8am and was planning to come at like 2pm (day before & within the 24 hours time) and book an airport hotel to just to relax but wanted to use the lounges during the day
Perfect, we will have the airport hotel booked and really keen to try the F lounge wine huntWe've done that twice, arriving in evening, stay in airport hotel, fly 10 am. Went to F lounge for dinner and breakfast without issues. YMMV.
no issues at customs getting through the e-gates? read that it could only be done 10 hours prior? We've done that twice, arriving in evening, stay in airport hotel, fly 10 am. Went to F lounge for dinner and breakfast without issues. YMMV.

Did you need to show your previous boarding pass?NA, we had flown in from UK evening before so never left airport.
Yes - I'd noted the connections with long layovers as I expect (and we can see from examples) this was less of an issue, or even a non issue, there.Given what dairyfloss quoted & Mrsfefe experienced, it may need clarification. The 4hrs prior limit is probably for when you turn-up at the airport for your the first flight, because connection times in between flights of over 4 hours are very normal and I'd be Extremely Grumpy if I had an 8hr connection and was traveling in F and they wouldn't let me in the lounge to kill that time in between flights.
