Does anyone else find the photo of that Virgin Blue economy class seat such a turn off? :x
chair.jpg

I've flown DJ plenty of times and know that their seats are equal in size to the economy seats on Qantas planes. But seeing a single seat on its own just reminds me of how small they really are, and does not tempt me to fly with them. And the TV advertisement with the woman carrying the chair promotes the "cheap" feeling even more.

Is it just me, or has OzJet totally spoiled me? :(

I agree. A picture of a domestic economy seat is not something the entices me to want to fly with them.

Perhaps it would be more enticing if they used a photo like this one?

Ah... that's much better. That's where I want to sit.

The more I look at that economy seat, with the seatbelts shown, it looks like something used in executions.

Not sure about executions, but I've suffered my fair share of torture in Economy seats. Particularly SYD-LAX and LHR-SYD.

I once was stuck in a chair that felt like this:

But I would prefer this:

This is eggsacory what I thought when I looked at that picture.

The VirginBlue ad makes me think - cool you've got the seat, now you just need to find the aircraft to put it in.

According to their website (www.lynxjet.com.au) they have been permanently grounded

Due to blatant and repeated breaches of the Aviation Code of Conduct, LYNXjet has been
permanently grounded. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our many
customers who joined our exclusive LYNXjet Mile High Club.

(Odd this happened at a similar time to OzJet)

Well, I have done this for a few international flights! Generally I travel J, However it is a bit difficult to justify the cost for domestic flights.
