Book 1 stays through the Best Flexible Rate with Breakfast and receive 3,000 POINTS
Complete 6 of your offers and receive 29,000 POINTS

Much better than the offer this year which demanded a stay at an IC in continental America. Should be able to achieve all of these through genuine work-related travel. Not a bad little reward for staying loyal to a brand.

Re: Master Priority Club bonus thread.

The resorts are all resorts, so includes the ICSC, CP Hunter valley etc.
My registration page seemed pretty clear that only the ones I listed were eligible. Oh well, unlikely I will manage that one anyway. I only have to do 6/8 to receive the 27,000.

There should be a an option that says its all eligible properties, got the same examples but clicking the link listed all resorts including the two locals.

Re: Master Priority Club bonus thread.

I haven't received an email as yet, and am getting the error message when I try to login via the link provided up thread. :(

Re: Master Priority Club bonus thread.

Thanks markis10 that link worked. My offers aren't as good as this year, don't think I will be getting many points this time around.

Anyone who needs a fourth brand and does not expect to get it, please PM me as I have some limited options including a HIX for $80.

Stay 4 brands for 28,800
Stay 3 Saturday nights for 8,400
Book 1 BFR with Breakfast for 3,000 points
Spend $190 on F&B for 1,600 points
Stay 1 resort for 9,000 points
"Win Big" - Complete 5 of your offers - for 25,000 points

Interesting, after only 4 stays this year (brought on by the current Big Win promo, as I had shifted most business to HH......
Pity that points don't bring elite status any more, but I repurchased Ambassador with points, and got a points voucher with renewal, making the status chase moot.

Hi all,

I am thinking of trying to get some of the points in this promotion. Does anybody know if I book a room with reward points, or points plus pay, does it count towards the number of nights needed to qualify (e.g. like mattm199's stay 18 nights for 20,400 points)

Rewards nights including points plus pay don't count.

Bit concerned about the 2014 T&Cs ...

Am I right in reading that PP voucher nights will NOT qualify ??

Has this been clarified?

In reading my offer, the very minimum would be 8 nights with the most expensive component being 2 x 3 nite resort stays. (Sanctuary Cove and Hunter Valley). Not worth it unless the PP vouchers can be used like last time.

PP stays earn points as a qualifying stay so within the promos scope to be eligible.

Thanks so much for confirming my suspicions. i found it in the T&C after posting. I guess NYE is not the best time to try to work these things out.
It always amazes me the wealth of knowledge here. Thanks again.

... but, then what does "50% travel club discount" & "most rates booked through most third party websites" mean, in regard to EXCLUDED rates ( such as PP vouchers )

This is is the T&Cs for 2014 Big Win ( for at least one of my offers ... )

PP stays are eligible rates under APAC rules, so no issue.

Is that because PP is somehow 'related' to IHG Group ( in Australia at least ) ...

and that program is accepted, even though it is a "third party site" & offers a '50% club discount rate' ...

No, it's a locally negotiated rate which is qualifying as per the program's terms and conditions. It's not a third part site in the least, as the IHG site is the booking engine

I went on to the Big Win website to see how I was going and there are a whole heap of badges down the bottom. It says "At IHG, we're all about recognizing and celebrating your important milestones. That's why we've added even more badges for you to earn and share. Unlock a rewards badge, share your victory with your friends and get one step closer to The Big Win."

How does this get me closer to TBW? Are there requirement about badges in the points being offered?

The badges are more a by-product of The Big Win than a step to completing them. There's no specific reward tailored to achieving a badge / set of badges / all the badges. Badges is a recent social media fad.

Badges is a recent social media fad.

And like most social media fads, any normal person is left pondering the pointlessness of it all ;)............(like who the hell even sees my "badges", let alone cares?)
