Excellent. Now Mrs Sequel will be happy that you both have independent access to QP's in any of your travelling until 28 Feb 07. What Dave Noble and Mal said about your bonus 1K points. Great, isn't it!Sequel said:Sorry Lindsay, have been away for a couple of days (on the road and not in the air unfortunately), but I have just checked and we both made AA Plat with with 20554 qualyfying miles, 11004 Q Points and 28715 program to date miles. Ended up with 1000 extra for some reason "09/24/05 INTL ESUMM OPT-IN BONUS 0 1,000 1,000"? As we were on deep discounted tickets, which was the original problem and why we signed up for AA and challenge, we didn't qualify until our return to BNE.
QF Partner award in J....16K points each + 5K booking fee = 37K total. Much better value than USD$600 for 2 one-way flights in Y (travelling 28 Dec, no cheap airfares left). You can earn and redeem Qantas Frequent Flyer points when you fly on eligible^ oneworld flights and fare types. See the QF & Partner Award table.MIA-MBJ on QF award, how is this so?
That's what I'm hoping for as well. My aunt arrived back from LAX today, so I'll ask her when I see her as well.As far as security queues, we didn't encounter any, and went through MIA E twice, LAX 4 once and LAX TBIT once.
Sequel said:I didn't realise you could use QF FF points to get flights such as MIA-MBJ. I though you were limited to flighs between the cities on QF.com.au. Oh well, better to know now than not at all. My next holiday is going to be a beauty, it is a shame it is not going to be for a long time!
The Assisted Booking Fee is 2500 per ticket. So in Lindsay's case, it was 5000 points for two tickets.Dave Noble said:If it can't be done online you are liable to get stung for the offline booking fee though ( 5000 pts iirc )
