Thanks Qantas

On home front domestic Qantas flights have been very good.

This is an very old "thanks Qantas" but still valid. I was in Sydney working, and hubby had just had a very major operation in Grafton. I was booked to fly back on day x before his release. Sudden phone call: "I've signed out of hospital" (3 day x operation - should never happened - men!). Panic stations. Called Q. all the way out to Mascot - couldn't get through.

Straight through security to the lounge - explained the situation. "Nothing available but there may be a no show - stick around". Another Pax walking around also clearly wanting a seat.

At the last moment, they said to pax "Nothing". Pax walked away, then they motioned me and said: "Run!".

I've always been very grateful to Qantas for this (and sorry for the pax who was denied boarding).

For changing my SYD-CBR flight tonight at very short notice so I could travel with Petej.

Very welcomed and there will be a compliment recorded via the QF site.

I've had no complaints on any of the QF flights for a long time.

Generally I've noticed the staff looking happier and certainly their attitude really good on board.

I had asked for an ODU on Friday night at BNE, but no seats at the time, however he kindly blocked the seat next to me and said come back at boarding and see if there were any no shows. I didn't bother in the end as i knew i had a spare seat next to me.
