By the time I get of my MEL-SYD flight tomorrow morning, I would have made it to WP for the first time. Only about 12 months ago I had no idea about maximising SC's, YUP's etc, but I've now made WP with almost a month to spare. Next year will be much easier, as I've booked a range of YUP fares and a few other longer routes to maximise my SC's.

I just wanted to thank you all for the ample advice! I know the joys of WP has been diluted recently by QF's 'improvements', but hey, I'm happy.
