Did anyone else just receive an email like this? Mine says:

"Thank you for your loyalty. To show our appreciation, we're giving you 150 Status Credits and 2,500 Qantas Points. These will be added to your Frequent Flyer account by 30 September 2025 and will contribute towards your annual status. There's nothing you need to do in order to receive them."

Received similar - 40 Status Credits and 2,500 Qantas Points

Clearly I'm not as loyal or valuable :)

Well I'm not P1 or even WP so fair enough.

80 Status Credits, no points.

LTG with virtually no points or SC earn on QF metal for about 10 years (have had more recent earn on JQ though).

TL;DR for anyone who hasn't read the website yet, here's what everyone is getting.

Status Credits
  • Platinum One: 300 Status Credits
  • Platinum: 150 Status Credits
  • Gold: 80 Status Credits
  • Silver: 40 Status Credits
  • Bronze: 40 Status Credits if there's activity in the last 18 months
Points Club
  • Points Club Plus: 5,000 Qantas Points
  • Points Club: 2,500 Qantas Points
For example, someone who's Gold with Points Club Plus will get 80 Status Credits + 5,000 points.

Yes.

it’s been widely discussed since it was announced yesterday including in the Points Club thread here and the DSC thread here.

With existing bookings only the points benefit me and after the recent increase to points required for upgrades and classic rewards, 2,500 is not much at all. But anything is better than nothing.

I thought the point was OP got an email with both SC and points. They did not mention that they were a PC member.

Has anyone got this and is not a PC member?

I know its something for nothing but is it a bit rough that Bronze and Silver get the same reward?
Well considering the benefits of Silver are small there’s an argument that Silver could be called Bronze Plus or Premium Bronze

Aha! So you’re the ghost they’re trying to smoke out, LTG locked in and not a single flight in a decade. :p Is it true that people ditch QF for another airline once you had the LTG in your pocket?
