I’m probably not going to fly them for other reasons, based on reports about how far the product has gone downhill in recent years. Although, I have only ever flown with them on a B747 in F some years back and that was pretty good at the time.

I think it's actually the complete opposite. TG's service has substantially improved in recent years, for example the introduction of tray-less dining, champagne flutes, and occasional special menus designed by places such as the Mandarin Oriental. Their red-eye catering from BKK to AU has also improved with more choices post-departure.

Their new lounge in BKK is great and of course superb ground-handling including curbside to lounge in under 10 minutes. Plus the spa. Regional A330s are getting equipped with full-flats, and the A359 is fantastic.

Their 2-2-2 seating on 787s is outdated.
