We have LifeMiles flights on Thai in May/July 2014 & I am seeking thoughts on best seats. There are 2 of us but we are very comfortable with sitting apart. The flights are

TG 472-SYD-BKK in J on 747 all series

TG 920-BKK-FRA in J on 380

TG 941-MXP-BKK in F showing as 747-400 (was expecting 340-600 but all info is saying 747-400)

TG 471-BKK-SYD in F on 747 all series

Earlier in 2013 we were in F for SYD/BKK and BKK/SYD and had 1A & 1K and thought they were the pick of the seats when the cabin wasn't crowded so we will probably aim for those again for the 4th flight above but looking for any opinions.

Appreciate any ideas

The folks recently returned from a US DM redemption in J & flew TG SYD/BKK on a 744 & opted for upper deck so seating was 2 x 2 & they did seat allocation once the booking had been ticketed which was several months in advance.

The 773 flight BKK/CPH was a 1 x 2 x 1 config in J so they'd originally decided on a window & the aisle seat across however once onboard the cabin crew offered them the centre two seats in row 1 which they accepted & said was quite private & had plenty of room.

On the way back LHR/ICN/SYD on OZ it was a 773 with a 2 x 3 x 2 config (same aircraft) but not the 77W with the full flats. The 77W was originally scheduled to operated the LHR/ICN sector so they'd originally allocated single window seats behind each other but this changed to the 773 so they were reassigned 2 seats on the side window & aisle which they said were still very comfortable.
