Taxes on DONE4 a bit high?

That was done on my recollection - you might (in fact probably are) be correct that I have under-reported the QF charges.

I do feel that in this circumstance it is one of those dramatic differences between the programs (at the moment). What is of more "interest" is the advocating of booking DONE4s through AA rather than QF - many 100s of $ savings in that area.

I agree that booking a xONEx or xCIR2x with AA is probably the better option but there are so many threads in the last few weeks of people having issues dealing with AA RTW desks in various countries, not sure which one to deal with, given different quotes on different days, bookings lost, rules interpreted differently by various staff etc.

There is only one AA ATW desk. It is in the USA and only accessible via the USA phone number. In my experience, they get the rules right a lot more consistently than any other airline, especially QF.
