Targeted QF Double Status Credit Offer. Book 28 Oct - 4 Nov 19. Fly 5 Nov 19 - 22 Oct 20

Has anyone’s double SC posted? My work trip on the 5th hasn’t posted yet. Used to come through within the week.

I was just about to ask the same. My first SYD-MEL return still yet to post. On previous offers usually it was T+1 or 2.

Did a flight on 10 Nov and DSC posted today...by the way I wasn't targeted but as I have done in the past all you have to do is be logged into your account and paste the targeted URL link and you successfully registered.

The only time this didn't work was when they had the DSC offer for flexi fares only

I highly doubt this is the case, since the page content is static and doesn't fire any events to the QF account service to register or submit a form.

As I said, it's highly doubtful this is the case and I'd caution anyone else thinking this and is disappointed when DSCs don't post and they don't have any recourse with QFF.

It's not about belief, it's about the technology at play here and how CRMs and mailing lists work.

I took a look at the code running on the page, and can confirm there's nothing in there that would be enabling this process by the steps you took.

I assume you used a link that had the “token” URL sent to someone else (ie the actual link in the email), rather than the URL you get redirected to after clicking on the email link.

All I did was have copy of the email, right click on the register link, copy the URL and then past on the browser whilst logged in to my frequent flyer. It has worked on all targeted offers except the one exclusively for flexi fares.

I told myself so LOL! (OK, so I was a week late). I guess the VA DSC is probably more about diverting all the negative press though.

I wouldn't be suprised to see VA push out a general DSC promo in the next week to try & go one-up on the RedRoo - I think last one was 6 months ago.

Looks like Qantas might be using this offer to tempt back people who haven't thought to book QF in a while...?

I am 3 months into my year and haven’t booked anything. I haven’t received the DSC offer !

I haven't booked an international flight for quite a while now and not many domestic trips. A DSC offer would have been nice.

Just as a reference point, QF must’ve fixed their systems as the next lot of DSC posted the next day.

It usually takes a lot longer for the flights at the start of the flying period to post DSC and then gets better after that.
