So i received an email today with the title

"Fly to Christchurch, get 50% more Status Credits"

Terms are
There's never been a better time to book with Qantas. For a limited time, you'll be rewarded with 50% more Status Credits on eligible flights with a QF flight number on your ticket.*

You can enjoy this offer on an unlimited number of flights booked in the next 7 days so it's a great way to help get your Status Credits balance soaring.

Simply register and make a new booking between 26 August 2019 and 1 September 2019 for travel from 26 August 2019 to 24 December 2019. And don't forget to include your Frequent Flyer membership number in your booking.

Interestingly i have been looking at flights for CHC quite heavily recently.

Although after reading the T&Cs the offer is any QF marketed flight so unlike the wider QF DSC's not limited to QF metal and not limited to Christchurch so the email title is a bit confusing

Anybody else get one of these?

Looks like the work experience kid in IT has stepped up to search history data mining? hehe

QF needs to fill the kitty.
Haven't flown SYD - CHC in a few years now, but have in the past, on EK with a QF flight number, in J and F.
No QF email though!
PS, I would make a booking and flight on my terms, not on QF's terms.
Am not into status chasing anymore, if I want to visit a city, I will pay to fly there either in J or comfort seat booking, not at the beck and call of QF.

Looked at classic rewards flight availability from Sydney to London last night for a friend and got the same 50% bonus status credit offer in the email today. Replace Christchurch with London in title. Go figure...

Yes scored this recently....but not quite ready to book

I may take advantage of the Premium cabin sale

And I searched for flights to BKK and received the same offer.

Not ready to book either. Any tricks?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

After our recent trip this appeared on my statement:

"PERSONALISED OFFER DOUBLE STATUS CREDITS 10-SEP-2019"

Qantas literally own a subsidiary company specialises in data mining, analytics and marketing called Red Planet. They specialise in exactly this type of targeting.

Red Planet Group

That's interesting. I used to and still get a lot of survey requests from Red Planet. I used to do them in the past when I was free and used to get a lot of DSC offers. However, in the past few months I stopped taking their surveys and I have not got any DSC offers. Guess there is something to do with the surveys and offers from QF

My recent 50% SC offer “to the USA” travel window just ended on 11 Sep...(!) but I managed to sneak a SYD-CHC J trip in. Posted as “LET QANTAS REWARD YOU BONUS STATUS CREDITS”.

Hoping for more joy soon. Need to do some dummy bookings....

Got a flurry of these targeted offers last ff year when we were looking for flights to various places but none for months. Maybe it's because we started the year with a bang and by end of July I had 1k?

I looked at New York the other day and Mrs C promptly got a 50% SC offer with New York in subject! She flies a lot domestically for work so must be an important person in QF's eyes. Then just now got a phone call from QF offering me WP status for another 12 months for 120k points as I was falling short on both SCs and squiggle flights. Mrs C has now had three 50% SC offers this year.... me none. Sigh.
