Taking the slow boat.

Currently in the middle of a much delayed trip to Italy. Basically a couple of days in Como, then two weeks in both Venice and Rome. Flying with SQ. The trip out was on a 777 (which I didn't like) and a 350 (which I did). It will be a 350 for both sectors home.

I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on SQ’s use of the seatbelt sign!

Over cautious? Or you would have done the same? etc.

We came home on SQ last week BKK-SIN-BNE. The seat belt came on only once on each sector and both times there was obvious turbulence. But both times a pilot came on adding cabin crew continue service but exercise caution. maybe they are starting to get over that bad incident.
And the SQ 777 J seat is the worst lay flat J seat I have experienced.

Seat belt use wasn’t excessive, though crew continued to work. There were never any bumps, but without seeing their radar, I don’t know whether the use was appropriate. And that’s my thinking re that 777 J seat too.
