Re: Selected Qantas Classic Awards, now with Status Credits for a limited time

Both SWMBO and I both got the offer so maybe a broad target group if it is targeted.
I am fairly broad yet my loyalty gets overlooked again.

Not that I would have any use for it.

I notice it doesn't mention F

But only economy earn, even on J flights...

Nothing for me, can't be important enough.

And yet we are told that the more you spend, the more status credits you will earn. Except when it comes to this promotion? More daunting and less fair.

Mostly because you are spending points rather than dollars I assume.

Got and would love to use it, but just managed to barely obtain SG and WP is a far off dream, so not sure whether further status credits would be any use to me in the next few months.........

Got the offer. Since the demise of online MASA's, my 20+ bookings have all gone elsewhere.
Thankfully now totally weaned off being a status junkie with the added bonus of significantly more FF points still in the kitty.

I was planning a flight to the UK in November so I thought this might be a bit useful.
But then I realised I am flying from PERTH!
if you pay the $$ you get a QF flight number if you book a classic award you get the EK flight number.

So no SC for me if i book a classic award!

I called up and spoke to them and they suggested flying 5 hours in the wrong direction to fly to Dubai from Sydney!

I got this one too. I'll need to review the T&C's carefully and plug in a few dummy bookings before making a decision.

Got it but not really interested. An offer I can refuse.

2/4 household accounts received. Might use it this year ..... no need for SC next year as we've already secured Plat x 2 with some juicy F/J MASA

I got this offer. Seems pretty good for those who can take advantage of it :)
I only have one classic award booked at this stage and that's the last 767 flight from MEL-SYD on 27th Dec. Don't think it's worth cancelling and re-booking for 20SC though

I got it as well - I'm 50 SC away from making PS by November, I've already got plans which should get me over the line in time, but this offer might just bring it forward a bit. (Am a bit annoyed that this came a day after I booked a trip for next week - I was considering booking it as a Classic Award but decided against it so I could get the SC...)

Also received here this morning but won't be registering.

Another who got it. Wondering if all the recipients are former mASA users?

May use for some Qlink flights - which are Y class only.

Ive done MASAs and did not get the offer.

I just booked a BNE-SYD 8000 points plus $32. Needed to fly anyway and wouldve been $146 for a red-e. Still get 10SCs and better points to value ratio than the MASA's which always had higer co-pays.
