Hi everyone, could be booking a flight via Taipei is it worth having a stopover for 3-4 days. Look forward to your input, thanks
Absolutely worth it, and make sure you see Taroko National Park, it is magnificent.
The people don't speak much English but are friendly and the transit system is easy to use.
Oh and it is a great place to do a status run from, CX J TPE-HKG-MNL return for about $500 and reaps 200 SCs, you might even find a better run.
Reading a few of these ideas and looking for a way to spend about 6-8 hours whilst returning from GUM (arr 0805) - HKG (dep 1810) in late Sept. Would appreciate any tips on getting out to have a look around - never been before, transport and where to go; will luggage be checked through; a BR J, lounge; cash. Any thoughts (on this first day of rain for months).
