so high at this time. In the past, I have saved by flying SYD-BNE-TSV-CNS. Does not work out any cheaper this time. I saw Tiger flights SYD-OOL but no same day connection to CNS. Tiger is also introducing MEL-CNS but in Sep. I don't mind diversion but need to fly over next 2 to 4 weeks. Suggestions?

if you need accomodation as well perhaps try Blue Holidays as I've twice gotten substantial air fare discounts on DJ this year on last minute trips by booking through them.

Accommodation is not required.

Just checked SYD-TSV r/t works out between $344 and $425 all in. May need overnight in TSV but, again, accommodation is not an issue.

It’s the tail end of peak season up there - lots of folks from SYD and MEL escaping the winter. My mum lives at one of the northern beaches of CNS and I often fly her CNS-SYD-CNS. I have found that DJ is consistently cheaper on that route but that occasionally QF beats them.
