Hi everyone!
Hard to believe that it's been 4 months since the last SYD meetup/dinner (organised by @WilsonM), so I'm thinking it might be time to start talking about another one!
It might be a way off yet, but I'm thinking that Feb 2026 is a good option given that the coming months are already taken up with the AFF MasterClass Dinner (SEP 6th), the Hobart Lunch (OCT 11th), the AFF Annual Gathering (NOV 21st-23rd) and the MEL Christmas Dinner (DEC 13th), then January is sub-optimal given the summer school holidays.
To avoid the inevitable prolonged debate and deliberation over prospective venues, I thought I'd suggest one from the outset and let you all shout me down instead!
To that end, I'm suggesting Chin Chin -:

Please note that groups of 6+ are required to dine on their Feed Me Menu (sample menu), but I'm guessing this shouldn't be too much of an issue given plenty seemed to be ok with the idea of a set menu for our previous event.
Saturdays seemed to be the most popular option last time, so figured I'd gauge interest for the 3 Saturday options in February (that aren't Valentine's Day) and go from there.
Please cast your votes on preferred dates and indicate your interest. For those unfamiliar with the AFF terminology:

An overload for the senses, Chin Chin is quintessentially Australian with a South-East Asian injection.

- "Platinum" means your attendance is confirmed and you have booked flights/accommodation (as required)
- "Gold" means you're likely to attend but will need to confirm at a later time
- "Silver" means you're unlikely to attend at this stage.
- "Bronze" means you're unable to attend.
