Quick update: We're looking at having dinner from 7.30pm at Thai Pothong in Newtown.

If you haven't already RSVP'ed here, or indicated that you want to attend the dinner when registering for the MasterClass, please let us know in the thread so we can finalise the numbers soon and make a booking with the restaurant.

Is this only for like paid AFF members or something or can anyone come along? I may make a trip if it’s open to all

I've just updated post #1 of this thread with more details about the Sydney dinner on 6 September!

As a summary:

• The dinner will be at 7.30pm at Thai Pothong restaurant in Newtown
• The cost is $55 per person, payable in cash (please bring cash with you!)
• There will be a set banquet menu. Please advise us ASAP if you have any dietary requirements, as the restaurant can cater for this if informed in advance
• You have the option to BYO wine, as the price also includes corkage (and a small tip for the restaurant staff)
• Additional drinks will be available to purchase from the restaurant on the night, and you can pay for those directly to the restaurant

We are expecting quite a big turnout.
