Sydney Airport hotel recommendations

Just checked Rydges for a one night stay in March, the cheapest room is $383 (member price) which I think is pretty ridiculous.

If wanting to stay in the domestic side, Adina or Crowne Plaza are closest to Mascot station for cheaper access to the appointment..

And rather than hotel shuttle an easy walk to bus stops for the 350/420 on Coward St

And arrange a visit to Cowards Castle, along the way, perhaps

To build on the OP's thread -
Any recommendations for reasonably priced Hotel arriving and departing Domestic (Im paying for 3 rooms - Us, Kids and Partners ) ? I was thinking the Moxy - but the above post concerns me... Ibis budget was on the cards - but reviews seem terrible..
All we really need is a place to sleep before an early morning departure

If you weren't already aware, there are two Ibises (Ibes?). Ibis Budget's pretty grim, the other Ibis "Ibis Sydney Airport" is fine for a night. And weirdly might be slightly cheaper depending on when you book - it is for tonight.
