Sydney Airport hotel recommendations

Just checked Rydges for a one night stay in March, the cheapest room is $383 (member price) which I think is pretty ridiculous.

If wanting to stay in the domestic side, Adina or Crowne Plaza are closest to Mascot station for cheaper access to the appointment..

And rather than hotel shuttle an easy walk to bus stops for the 350/420 on Coward St

And arrange a visit to Cowards Castle, along the way, perhaps

To build on the OP's thread -
Any recommendations for reasonably priced Hotel arriving and departing Domestic (Im paying for 3 rooms - Us, Kids and Partners ) ? I was thinking the Moxy - but the above post concerns me... Ibis budget was on the cards - but reviews seem terrible..
All we really need is a place to sleep before an early morning departure

If you weren't already aware, there are two Ibises (Ibes?). Ibis Budget's pretty grim, the other Ibis "Ibis Sydney Airport" is fine for a night. And weirdly might be slightly cheaper depending on when you book - it is for tonight.

I really liked the moxy. Found it comfy and the food was good and reasonably pricedat their restaurant

It’s the convenience for the International the next morning. That’s what I like.

Adina Mascot (next door to Crowne Plaza) is often sub $200 and the rooms are functional. Join TFE to get member's rates with a choice of welcome gift options. I have stayed at a few in Mascot, although recently mainly Pullman, and non seem to be noisy but I might just be a good sleeper.
If flying from T1 Rydges is the handiest and closer to your required date the rates sometimes drop. I book a flex rate at one of the others then check Rydges rates to change if it becomes affordable.

We always stay at the Pullman and my wife is a very light sleeper but no complaints from her so it must be ok. She normally wakes up to a mosquito buzzing in the next suburb whereas I wouldn’t wake up if the fire alarm went off
