Sydney Airport - Expect Significant delays this afternoon

If anyone cares, I don't care that he doesn't care about caring for simongr's delayed flight. BUT, I do care that the flights were delayed, because, well, it's just annoying.

I care to care about the OP's wanting to care because of the original intention of caring, but then responded by not caring, to care for caring sakes because I care. Do you even care?

Next time I won't post about experiences I will just criticize other posters

Thanks, mate, but that's the point because that's what you have been doing and no I'm not a balding 50 something Hancock englishman but a hot sexy aussie gal with my extensive experience and opinions and I don't much care for your arrogance and discriminatory attitude particularly as a chick and a new poster

It seems that I'm not the first newcomer to find certain folk in these here parts to be less than welcoming and it takes more than a month to score a 12,000 post record...unfortunate given the other members who seem to espouse some decency and respect and genuine interest in sharing

Hang around.

Thanks for the feedback Frances - always happy to reflect on what I do wrong and right so I just scrolled through my last 100 posts to see what I have been doing. I can see one thread where I post a suggestion that we have an informative thread that dispells some of the "myths" popping up around the EK/QF arrangement and some frustration that people keep posting "facts" which are wrong. I then see another 90 or so posts about my experiences, explaining things (like correcting what the actual cabin bonus is in J/F), doing a mea culpa for my own stupidity about Amex chip and pin, thanking jb747 for the reassurance that I was able to provide my wife when she was concerned about adverse Sydney weather and various pieces of advice around flying.

Then I go back a few posts further and get back into the comment on possibly your first post about the IE version in HNL and the berating I got from straitman about comments to a first time poster. I frankly do find it hilarious that the version of IE in a QP is an issue compared to the fundamental problems on the same route - for me it would be like saying the olives are too round after you get downgraded from F to whY.

It would be nice before you accuse me of a lack of decency if you would look at what I have shared over the past six years, what I have learned over the same time frame and what I hope to learn in the future.

For the record you also completely misunderstood the reference to TonyHancock - someone I know personally - someone whose privacy I respect and have decided not to provide personal information that could identify the individual - hence using some distracting language.

I guess one issue is that you've been here such a short time you don't understand why Simongr informed us about the lack of phone call from the P1 team. It was unfortunately that you choose to attack him over that. I can't help but feel that he would have said nothing if you hadn't of attacked him about mentioning the lack of phone call. I think if we review the sequence of events we'll see that post possible created some of the issues. It is entirely unfair to suggest that you have been targetted in any way.

It is also apparent you don't get the reference to Tony Hancock, which evolves from a long stand series of comments and posts. Again an unfortunate situation.

Thanks, mate. Just for the record I respect your own extensive experience and the incredible resource of information that AFF represents. I also respect that opinions differ and such difference is to be respected and celebrated (ideally with some back up rationale). Without clarification the HNL posts were ambiguous and remained so after Straitman's intervention. I also recognise that all of us are keen to get the facts on the QF-EK situation, in my own case pondering the dilemma of around 900,000 QF points to use. Obviously "in jokes" don't make sense to members out of the loop - might be worth bearing in mind???

Safe and rewarding travel to you and your wife(/family?). Keep the insights and knowledge coming...

many thanks - you would need to see other threads to get the full picture and the pattern that warranted such a response - perhaps best for others not to buy into an exchange on which they are not completely informed and thereby come across as equally prejudicial - in any case please see now posted response to Simongr...moving forwards...everyone's positive contributions/experiences shared are greatly appreciated

I do actually read a lot around here. So please don't think I'm stepping in uninformed. I'm just concerned that we don't lose your experience because of a misunderstanding.

I'm not sure if you think I'm also prejudiced against you. But if so, I can only say nothing would be further from the truth.

Welcome aboard Frances, and apologies for any offence in mistaking you for Tony Hancock.
