Firstly, this is my first thread so thanks in advance for anyone that replies.

I am looking to fly Sydney to New York return in May 2010. Hoping to depart Sydney on or around 8th May, departing N.Y on or around 20th May.

A summary of my situation:

1) Qantas Gold F/F with 100,000 points.
2) Amex Centurion Card with 2,200,000 points.
3) Westpac Gold Mastercard with 1,200,000 points.

Our preferance is to fly Qantas Business Class and use the classic system however my options appear to be limited.

Does anyone have any suggestions on using my points in an 'effective' manner and not give them away by using the Qantas Anyseat programme.

Happy to sign up to other F/F programmes to achieve my goal.

One final question - is there a programme that searches all F/F sites with your requirements and comes back with availability?

Thanks again for your assistance.

3) Westpac Gold Mastercard with 1,200,000 points.

I assume that the Westpac is Altitude awards?

If so both can transfer to Singapore Airlines.

You may wish to look at taking a *A Partner Award via SQ.

For Qantas FF business awards transpacific you generally need to be looking for the seats 11½ months in advance (from 353 days out).

There is very little chance for May seats to now become available.

FWIW, with that many points you could book First Class around the world fares for 420,000 QFF points each + any assisted award booking fees you may incur, of course you still need to be looking 353 days in advance. I presume Centurion points can be converted to QFF.
