Would anyone object if I smoked a cigar on the night? Not often I have a drink in an outdoor area.

I think the smoking section is in a seperate section .... last time we were there, smokers seemed to dissapear into a corner. I couldn't smell smoke where we sat on the roof!
 
I've just noticed this thread (generally speaking I don't look in the Year section).

I should be able to make it. I'll see how Friday goes (this week at work is looking insane).
 
There are a few 'Maybe' entries on the spreadsheets. munitalP, ozmille and moa999 - are you able to confirm so we have a better idea of numbers?

Yeah I stuffed up. Trying for a happy median between putting it in the April area or having absolutely no time definition at all. Ended up being completely unfindable.

Looking at my schedule I am unlikely to be able to get there at an acceptable time. If that changes I'll update here and you'll see me running down the wharf screaming for a beer, god knows I'll need one by then :D

Unfortunately, no. I've just got off the phone to the Glenmore, they only take bookings Monday to Wednesday. So we have to wing it, so to speak.

This means getting down there a bit early and grabbing some tables. I can get there at about 4:30 or so. Previously mentioned a 6 pm start time. Can anyone else get there earlier?

(Perhaps this is why I don't organise things very often :rolleyes:)
 
I'll probably be close to 6pm, got to drop my bag at the Hilton and check in on the way through from the office. Will PM you if I can get away any earlier.

I do land at 1.30pm so will try and get there for 4.30 as well pending other issues I have to deal with.

I will be getting to the Hilton about 2.30 (insert dentist joke here) so could be at the Glenmore maybe 3.30 - 4pm. By 6pm I may be blowing bubbles instead of able to hold a conversation after spending the morning in the MEL Flounge, but I am prepared to take one for the team!

That's sounds pretty good. I'm out "west" in the morning and expect to be back in town by 2:30. 4:30/45 should be enough to beat the post work crowd.
 
I will try to come after work (~5-6pm) and say hi - but can't stay as got lot's of household stuff to do :(

<Getting away for the weekend means I have to finish all the cleaning & washing on Fri nite>
