Many AFf members have rightly criticised the VA and Velocity Rewards websites, which are, as the thread says 'RUBBISH!' (particularly the latter) and some have also got stuck into the QF website, which I don't find as bad but each to his or her own.

Unfortunately Sydney Airport, in redesigning its website has managed to do an even worse job with its displays of flight arrivals and departures. Have a look and see if you agree. The default appears to be displays by what times flights are arriving, not when they are scheduled.

There's a lot to dislike about MEL: lack of a heavy rail line to the airport and gouging on car parking fees are two, but at least its flight status pages are easy to use and efficient.

I do not work in the field and it is easy for us to criticise, but why do these large corporations have difficulty in designing something that is effective, and easy on the eyes while quickly bringing up information in a logical format?

If you click scheduled, it will re-sort by scheduled arrival (as opposed to estimated). You can sort by any of the columns.

Seems pretty good to me.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Playing with it a bit more, there are still a few bugs. When you click though on the status "arrived" button, the "arrived" time would perhaps be an "at gate" time, and the estimated time would seem to be a landed time.
